## Use case

A vault protects the privileged accounts it holds, and says nothing about the ones it doesn't. Hydden collects users, folders, their permissions and the secrets in them from Delinea Secret Server, and compares them with the privileged accounts it finds across your systems.

## Why it matters

The privileged accounts that matter most are often the ones nobody vaulted. Hydden finds them and can put them in Secret Server.

## How it works

1. **1. Collect from Secret Server** Users, folders, folder permissions and the secrets they hold.
2. **2. Match to real systems** Each vaulted account is linked to the machine or database it signs in to.
3. **3. Vault what is missing** Add a discovered account to Secret Server, or create and remove folders, from Hydden.

## Screens and documentation

The Delinea Secret Server data source is available to all customers. Add it like any other source in Hydden.

## Key benefits

Let's say John, a PAM admin, keeps his team's privileged accounts in Delinea Secret Server. He wants to know which admin accounts are still outside the vault. Here is what Hydden does.

1. Compares the accounts in Secret Server with the admin accounts it found on your servers.
2. Lists the privileged accounts that are not vaulted.
3. Adds the ones John picks to Secret Server, without leaving Hydden.
