## Key benefits

A campaign built from a fixed list goes stale as soon as people join, move or leave. Reviewers end up checking accounts that no longer matter and missing new ones.

Build the scope from conditions instead. Include and exclude accounts by their owners, groups, roles and classifications, then use Test Query to see exactly which accounts will be reviewed before you launch.

## How it works

1. **1. Write the conditions** Include and exclude across accounts, owners, groups, roles and classifications.
2. **2. Test the query** Preview the matching accounts before launch.
3. **3. Launch the campaign** Reviewers see the accounts the query matched.

## Getting started

Query-based campaigns are part of Hydden access reviews for all customers. Create a campaign and choose a query scope.

**Need configuration detail?** Technical documentation is available to customers after sign-in.
